The development of this project involved the design of a minimalistic clothing rack tailored for young, urban individuals with dynamic routines that want their most used clothes to be accessible. The process began with user research, to understand daily habits, space limitations, and storage needs. Insights gathered informed a UX-driven design approach focused on functionality, ease of use, and portability.

The final product features a clean, simple structure with intuitive assembly, making it ideal for compact living spaces and users who value both practicality and modern aesthetics.

Sketching

Multiple hand-drawn concept sketches were produced to investigate different structures, materials & proportions. Emphasis was placed on achieving a lightweght & sturdy form, with a minimalistic silhouette that could integrate into small, modern, living spaces. Special consideration was given to the assembly process, I wanted to design a product that would require minimal tools & offer an intuitive setup.

Drawings

I also developed technical drawings for this project, these were detailed, production-ready documentation. Using Autocad I assured that I included every specification necessary for the fabrication of this product. This stage was a crucial bridge between concept & physical realization, enabling efficient prototyping.
